I can confidently say that anyone needing customized pre-employment testing would benefit from a program designed by ErgoScience. When Total began expanding from a “no touch freight” customer base, adding on freight handling accounts and flatbed, we saw a significant increase in workers comp injuries and claims. We needed to find a provider that would be able to impartially evaluate our driver candidates, based on the varying requirements of their specific account. Ergo was able to create a customized test that replicated the needs for each type of account. This testing has helped Total prevent injuries and the costs associated with them, as well as reduce the amount of fraudulent workers comp claims due to pre-existing issues. On many occasions, their testers have brought medical concerns to our attention that we were unaware of, that could have potentially led to injury and the costs associated with them.

In 2012 we were searching for a tool that would test our driver recruit’s ability to perform the physical demands of a flatbed driver. Something that would help us make a better hiring decision.
